Sometimes, it looks like finding new value in what’s already been grown – using produce that might otherwise go to waste and giving it a second life in a thoughtful, considered way.
This collaboration with Olieve & Olie is a simple expression of that idea.

A local collaboration
Just a few kilometres apart, Hawkes Farm and Olieve & Olie share a commitment to quality, locality and care in the way things are made.
For this project, beetroot grown in our paddocks, including imperfect or surplus produce, has been transformed into a small batch of handcrafted soap, made at Olieve & Olie’s factory less than 5km from the farm.
It’s a collaboration grounded in proximity, but also in shared values:
minimal waste, minimal miles, and meaningful local partnerships.
The soap
Crafted especially for Hawkes Farm, this Beetroot and Olive Oil Soap is handmade using traditional methods and a careful blend of all-natural ingredients.
At its base is Australian olive oil, known for creating a gentle, nourishing soap that cleanses without stripping the skin. Naturally rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, it leaves skin feeling soft, smooth and cared for.
Beetroot brings a subtle, earthy character – a quiet nod to the land it was grown on, and the idea that even the humblest ingredients can be transformed into something beautiful.

While this is a small batch release, it represents something bigger.
